A simple portrait of a single structure. This collapsing shed was spotted on the A423 Southam Road adjacent to Bridge 138 where it crosses the South Oxford Canal.

The shed is located on an accommodation track just 50 metres from the road, yet there’s a melancholy air of mystery about the place.

What remains, within it’s shattered walls, are tantalising echoes and hints of previous occupation, clues in the form of cattle stalls, spare tyres and a rather macabre sealed deep freeze however, ultimately, it’s former function is difficult to determinate and there’s the attraction for me.
